The Carmello Rug Travertine draws inspiration from the quiet beauty of natural stone, translating its layered textures and tonal variations into a sophisticated contemporary rug. Machine woven from 100% polyester, its super-soft surface combines high-low texture with a subtle lustrous sheen, creating depth and movement as light travels across the design.
The Travertine colourway blends off-white, light grey, soft taupe, and deeper grey into a warm, mineral-inspired palette. Large abstract forms are layered with delicate linear markings and softly distressed areas, recalling the organic striations, tonal shifts, and weathered surfaces found in natural stone.
Rather than relying on a traditional repeating pattern, Travertine uses changes in scale and texture to create visual interest. Fine horizontal lines contrast with loosely woven effects and quieter areas of colour, giving the design an architectural quality that feels modern yet wonderfully organic.
A 0.35" medium pile provides a soft, comfortable feel underfoot, while the high-low construction adds tactile dimension across the surface. Lustrous fibres gently reflect the surrounding light, revealing different details and tonal variations throughout the day.
Its understated palette pairs beautifully with oak, walnut, linen, boucle, leather, limestone, marble, and, naturally, travertine. Sophisticated without feeling formal, Carmello Travertine is particularly well suited to Scandinavian, Japandi, organic modern, contemporary, coastal, and transitional interiors.

Polyester rugs offer a practical combination of softness, durability, and colour clarity, making them particularly well suited to everyday living. The fibres allow intricate patterns and nuanced colour combinations to remain beautifully defined while providing a comfortable surface underfoot.
Carmello's high-low construction and subtle sheen elevate the material beyond a conventional machine-woven rug. Variations in pile height catch the light differently across the surface, emphasizing the abstract pattern and creating a richer sense of depth.
The result is a rug that captures the layered, organic character of natural materials while offering the consistency and practicality of modern construction.
